Joint campaign with Etisalat Smiles & Emirates Holidays in UAE

MTPA is in collaboration with Emirates Holidays and Etisalat, one of the leading mobile network to target its current and potential customers through its Smile mobile application. A social media campaign will be launched in a first phase from 1 to 14 March 2020 and in a second phase from 23 April to 7 May 2020. The aim is to target its 1.8 million Smile subscribers through the lifestyle application which is available as mobile app or on its website to promote Mauritius as the ultimate tourist destination.

These actions include 2 Push notifications to reach 2 million customers, 2 SMS Blast to reach 6 million Smiles & Non-Smiles customers and to use its online banner for a duration of one month to reach 2 million customers as well as a Treasure chest (in-app promotion) to enable people to win prizes to visit Mauritius. Emirates Holidays will also provide a destination microsite through which customers can book their holidays packages.

The campaign will be launched in Arabic and English and will be supported by other digital actions including: Youtube Video, Facebook, Instagram and Google Display Ads to attract independent travel enthusiasts, Arab locals, western expats, newlyweds or honeymooners, families and stakeholders.
