Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) intensifies its promotional actions on Scandinavian market
Campaigns in Sweden and Denmark have been launched to showcase Mauritius’ rich cultural heritage to a highly targeted audience. Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority (MTPA) has hosted the B2B workshops, held on 9 March 2020 in Stockholm and on 11 March 2020 in Copenhagen to enhance the visibility of our island as a prime upmarket destination.
It is also a platform to build long term relations and to meet face-to-face different partners to expand our network. During the B2B workshops, the focus has been to push bookings for peak travel period for 2020 and to provide sales support to travel agents to promote Mauritius as a safe destination. Effective and targeted marketing through direct engagement with the travel agents have also been discussed.
There has been an excellent response for this participation from Tour Operators B2B, Destination Managers, Golf Clubs B2B, Golf & Sports Agents B2B, Events companies MICE B2B and every leading travel professional from Scandinavia to uplift the potential of this segment.
