Communique from Condor

- Condor website www.condor.com/fly-home helps to coordinate special flights to Germany
- Leisure Airline will bring at least 50,000 holidaymakers home in the next few days
- Further flights from holiday destinations back to Germany under review

Frankfurt am Main, 17 March 2020 - The leisure airline Condor is part of the Federal Foreign Office's "Airlift" initiative and is bringing guests back to Germany from holiday destinations on numerous special flights. On the specially set up website www.condor.com/fly-home, holidaymakers who are currently abroad can use an online form to indicate where they are currently located. On this basis, the Federal Foreign Office sends the required special flights, for which Condor is also used. Guests who are informed by the Federal Foreign Office about their return flight and make use of it must fill out a form from the Federal Foreign Office before the flight and will then be transported immediately.

Germany's most popularleisure airline is currently planning almost 180 regular return flights from holiday destinations and special flights until Sunday, which are being launched in cooperation with tour operators and the Federal Foreign Office. Condor will thus bring at least 50,000 holidaymakers back to Germany in the next few days. Further flights are under consideration. Condor's return flight schedule is updated several times a day at www.condor.com/aktuelle-infos and is always published there for the next 72 hours.

All Condor guests with a planned departure within the next four weeks can rebook their ticket free of charge without having to commit to a fixed date or destination. This also applies to passengers with tickets to countries whose entry restrictions have not been extended. As a result of the travel warning issued by the German Foreign Office, Condor can now only carry guests on the respective outbound flights who are citizens of the destination country and are travelling home with their flight.

"Our teams work day and night to ensure that holidaymakers in the destinations return home as quickly as possible. We are sorry that there are waiting times at the customer hotline at the moment due to the high volume of calls," says Ralf Teckentrup, CEO of Condor. Guests whose flight is not scheduled for the next 72 hours and who are not at their holiday destination are requested to contact the hotline at a later time. The website www.condor.com/aktuelle-infos is updated on a regular basis.
