Travel to Mauritius - updated February 28, 2020

Updated Communique with regards to the spread of the "new coronavirus" (Covid-2019)

Following the continuous and rapid spread of the "new coronavirus" (Covid-2019) in Italy, Iran and the Republic of Korea, the following precautionary measures have been adopted by the Local Authorities:

• Non resident travelers who come from or have been in transit in the following countries during the last 14 days will not be allowed to enter the Mauritian territory:
  • Italy
  • Iran
  • Republic of Korea
• Travelers who have visited or been in transit in Singapore and Japan during the last 14 days will be screened and closely monitored upon arrival in Mauritius

We wish to reassure the travel trade that all precautionary measures are being taken to protect the tourists visiting the island and the population in general.
