ADDITIONAL TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS TO THE REPUBLIC OF MAURITIUS
With the spread of the Covid-19 infection to a greater number of countries, Mauritian Authorities have extended travel restrictions to the Republic of Mauritius as follows:
- All visitors with travel history to Reunion Island, within the last 14 days, will not be allowed entry to or transit through the Republic of Mauritius as from today 16 March 2020, 20H00 GMT (00H00 local time), for a period of 14 days.
- All visitors with travel history to the European Union, UK, Ireland, Norway and Switzerland, within the last 14 days, will not be allowed entry to or transit through the Republic of Mauritius as from Wednesday 18 March 2020, 20H00 GMT (00H00 local time), for a period of 14 days.
- Mauritian nationals, residents, their spouse and children falling under the above categories in paragraph 1 and 2, will be allowed entry in the Republic of Mauritius and will be placed in quarantine.
