ITB Berlin 2020: A key platform for the travel industry

A delegation from Mauritius including Hon Mr. Georges Pierre Lesjongard, Minister of Tourism, Mr. Mohammad Salim Ferhat Joomun, Permanent Secretary, Mr. Arvind Bundhun, Director of MTPA and stakeholders will meet with partners from different countries to set new trends, concepts and cooperation for the tourism industry.

The MTPA will hold its European PR Meeting on Tuesday 3 March 2020 in Berlin. This meeting will be chaired by the Hon Mr. Georges Pierre Lesjongard, Minister of Tourism where PRs will be presenting to discuss marketing related issues, targets and plans. In addition, the low season ‘Colours’ campaign will also be presented for the coming season.

This excellent platform will not only add interest for our destination presence but also provides us partners to meet their counterparts during the two B2C days. Thus, this will promote the Mauritian culture through the ‘Colours’ campaign and music.
